While I never went truly low carb in my diet, I've gone to something more balanced instead of high carb. From what I've been reading, watching, and listening to over the past few years I'm coming strongly to the conclusion that the key for diet is eating real food, not processed crap, and find what works best for your own body. I think the reason the low carb has the highest level of success right now is that we're coming from a high carb. Lifestyle and those who react the worst to high carbs also tend to react great to low carb. <br /><br />More personal, it's great to hear another success story. I'm not as far into this journey as you, maintaining the weight loss less than 2 years so far. So, I appreciate when you share the things that have worked for you. Your definitely inspirational to keep pushing further (maybe progressing a little slower to have fewer injuries).
